Shayna Small is a classically trained actor, singer and educator based in Brooklyn. She is currently headed back to her old Baltimore stomping grounds for Christina Anderson’s new play, How To Catch Creation, at Center Stage.

She has worked across a variety of mediums including theater, film and tv, voiceovers, and music. She received her B.F.A from The Juilliard School and is a proud graduate of Baltimore School for the Arts, where she later returned to teach, mentor and direct. As a teacher and acting coach, she is an Arts Ambassador for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington and has taught regionally and abroad at Stella Adler Conservatory, Snow College, Baltimore School for the Arts, CenterStage, ASTEP, Showdown Theatre and the Helen Hayes Foundation. She also served as an acting coach for the operetta Qadar under the artistic direction of Denyce Graves.
As a singer she has performed at SNL, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, DC Jazz Fest, Les Poisson Rouge, Rockwood Stage, The Philly Jazz Festival, The Apollo and Joe's Pub.
